Every year Detroit Lakes Noon Rotary volunteers 16 hours as a Service Club at the Becker County Food Pantry with an exception of 2024. We need 2 Volunteer Rotarians or Rotarian and Guest to help out the BCFP. Each shift is 3 1/2 hours and the Rotarian must have the ability to lift 40 pounds.

Rotary Rising Star Award
Celebrating new Rotarians who are already making a difference.
The Rotary Rising Star Award recognizes a Rotarian within their first three years of membership who demonstrates exceptional engagement, service, and commitment to Rotary’s values. This award celebrates newer members who go above and beyond typical expectations by actively participating in club meetings and programs, serving on a club committee, supporting service projects, and embracing Rotary’s guiding principles.
Rising Star nominees are Rotarians who have already made a meaningful impact within the club and the community while showing strong potential for continued leadership and service.
Nominees must be a Rotarian in good standing within their first three years of membership and demonstrate active participation in club activities, committee work, and service initiatives.

Rotarian of the Year Award
Honoring a Rotarian who exemplifies Service Above Self.
The Rotarian of the Year Award recognizes a Rotarian who demonstrates exceptional dedication to Rotary through service, leadership, and active participation. This award honors a member who exemplifies Service Above Self and has made meaningful and sustained contributions to the club, the Rotary District, and the community.
Recipients of this award strengthen Rotary by actively engaging in club initiatives, fostering fellowship among members, supporting membership growth, and advancing Rotary’s mission both locally and beyond the club.
Nominees must be a Rotarian in good standing for at least three years, demonstrate consistent engagement in club activities and service projects and show meaningful contributions that strengthen the club, Rotary District, and community
