World Polio Day – October 24
Join us for a fun afternoon of walking, fellowship, and giving back as we come together to support Rotary’s fight to eradicate polio. Since Rotary began its campaign in 1985, global polio cases have been reduced by 99.9%, and we won’t stop until we reach 100%!
How It Works:
There’s no set starting point or group march, choose your own route! Walk between Buck’s Mill Brewing and Lakeside Tavern, enjoy the new beach boardwalk, or create your own path.
Stop by both locations between 2:00–5:00 PM to visit Rotary information stations, connect with local Rotarians, learn more about the fight against polio, and make a donation.
Wear your World Polio Walk apparel or wear red and join us!
Our Oktoberfest celebration on September 19, 2026, was a wonderful success! Thank you to everyone who came out to enjoy the festivities and to all the volunteers, sponsors, and supporters who helped make this event possible. It was a fantastic day filled with fun, fellowship, and community spirit, all while supporting the mission of Rotary and the work we do in our community.
We’re grateful for everyone who helped make this year’s Oktoberfest one to remember, and we look forward to celebrating with you again next year!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our annual Affordable. Local. Life-Saving. blood screening event! We’re grateful to our community members who took the time to prioritize their health and to Sanford, Essentia, and our Rotary volunteers for helping make this event possible.

Our Rotary Club was proud to present a $500 donation to help fund t-shirts for the kids this season. It’s always rewarding to invest in opportunities that bring our community’s youth together through teamwork, fun, and sportsmanship.
